Abstract

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) developed the Climate Resilience Evaluation and Awareness Tool (CREAT) to assist drinking water, wastewater and stormwater utility owners and operators in understanding potential climate change threats and assessing the related risks at their individual utilities. CREAT guides users through five modules designed to help them complete a climate change risk assessment. These modules employ a systematic process for evaluating the potential risks that may be incurred from changing climate conditions.
